On Friday 11th September I got some really bad news.
There is cancerous tissue in my right lung so I have to go back on chemo.
I discovered about two weeks before Xmas 2008 that I have a lung tumour. To be given this news at any time would be a hard pill to swallow but to be told while planning a big family get together was devastating. After recovering from the initial shock we were faced with a dilemma. Do we tell the family or do we try to hide it from them until after Xmas?
